PriCells: Recombinant Human Vascular Endothelial Cell Growth Factor (VEGF)
Human vascular endothelial cell growth factor (VEGF) is a highly specific mitogen for vascular endothelial cells. The VEGF family currently comprises seven members: VEGF-A, VEGF-B, VEGF-C, VEGF-D, VEGF-E, VEGF-F, and PlGF. Activities of VEGF Role of VEGF in Pathological Conditions The VEGF exerts angiogenic, mitogenic and vascular permeability-enhancing activities specific for endothelial cells. The VEGF has also been shown to be chemotactic for monocytes and osteoblasts.
